Since 2010, the MEZ has been connecting professional engineers, University of Michigan engineering students, and other volunteers with students from over 20 Detroit-area high schools to create a community of learning through FIRST Robotics. Students learn industry-standard techniques to design, build, test and compete with robots against other high schools from around the world.
How to Join
If you are a student at a school that comes to the MEZ and you’re interested in joining, either reach out to your school’s robotics team coach directly, or contact us and tell us what school you go to and we can establish communication.
